Star Gallery: Voyages

Swedish artist Bertil Vallien’s King’s Voyage, on view in Mint Museum Uptown’s Craft + Design galleries, is a cast glass “boat” that communicates ideas about a personal journey. Inspired by their visit to the Museum and in-class explorations of King’s Voyage, students created resin “boats” laden with small objects that symbolize their personal journeys. The student exhibition Voyages will be on display in the STAR Gallery at Mint Museum Uptown April 5, 2017 – April 23, 2017.
