In response to mixed-media artist Jason Watson’s work of art Q, on display at the Mint Museum Uptown, Charlotte Country Day advanced art students exhibit original works of art in the STAR Uptown Gallery.
Watson worked with participating students in the Mint Uptown permanent collection galleries and back in the classroom. Inspired by select works of art, students used Watson’s creative process and techniques to create their original works of art, some based on totemic themes.
