Mint Museum Randolph
Central Impact explores skateboarding through its most iconic canvas: the deck. Featuring rare boards, original artwork, and archival media from the 1980s to today, this exhibition highlights the evolution of skate culture both locally and globally. Works from artists like Sean Cliver, Marc McKee, and Andy Jenkins appear alongside collections from multiple archivists, tracing how graphics and culture have shaped generations.
This exhibition was organized by Deckaid, a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) and Black Sheep Skate Shop, and The Mint Museum. Proceeds from this exhibition support the Charlotte Skate Foundation.
