1:30PM - 2:45PM
Four Wednesday afternoons, 1:30-2:45 PM. Ages 3-5, accompanied by an adult.
Little artists and their adult companions investigate art in a museum gallery, explore fun art techniques in the classroom, and take home a unique creation! A new topic is explored each month during this 4 class series. Juice will be served.
September 24 - My Little Blue Boat - Let's drift through the galleries to find paintings with boats, and paint and collage our own pretty seascape and boat!
October 22 - Magnificent Mirror Mask - Use foil, paper tubes, and cardboard to construct and decorate a fanciful, shiny mask and try on a real African mask!
November 19 - Fall Veggie Patch Paintings - Mix colors to paint a pretty pumpkin, try out corn cob printing, and go on a "harvest hunt" for ancient American food vessels.
December 10 - Patterns on Parade! - Look for shapes and patterns in colorful cloths from Central America and stamp, roll, and print our own creations!
