In celebration of World Wide Knit in Public Day, Mint Museum Uptown is offering free admission with needles, hooks, or wheels!
Bring your unwanted yarn and tools to swap with other knitters.

Enjoy demonstrations and learn new tips and tricks from talented volunteers from 11:00 to 2:00.
At 2:00 p.m., join artist, designer and activist Tanya Aguiñiga for a talk exploring the ongoing community-art and interventionist activities of the bi-national artist initiative AMBOS: Art Made Between Opposite Sides.T anya Aguiñiga’s fiber art, featured in the Mint’s permanent collection, uses craft as a medium to generate dialogues about identity, culture, and gender while creating community.
