ART OF READING PUBLIC TOUR: THE LACUNA

Wednesday, June 6, 6-7:30 pm
Mint Museum Randolph
Admission: Free

New this year: a book tour for The Lacuna, an epic journey from the Mexico of artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera to the America of Pearl Harbor, FDR, and J. Edgar Hoover. Join us! After the discussion, take a docent-led tour of Spanish Colonial, Pre-Colombian, Mayan and Mexican galleries. See selected works that bring to life events and cultures depicted in Barbara Kingsolver’s 2010 Orange Prize winning work. Children over 12 welcome.
