Collecting Italian Renaissance & Later Ceramics at the Detroit Institute of Arts

Alan Darr, curator of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts, Detroit Institute of Arts, will discuss highlights of the DIA's renowned collection of Italian ceramics, including Renaissance maiolica, eighteenth-century porcelain sculpture from Doccia, and an extremely rare example of Medici porcelain from sixteenth-century Florence.
