Mint Museum Randolph
Join Joel Smeltzer head of school and gallery programs and Diane Lowry mindfulness program facilitator for Mindful Sketching of ceramic works by Tashiko Takaezu.
Takaezu believed that art and life are interconnected, and imperfection can be poetic. These philosophies shaped her work, which she approached with both spontaneity and contemplation.
Mindful Sketching sessions incorporate mindfulness techniques such as breathwork and guided slow looking meditation. Participants can sketch a work in our gallery spaces and return for a conversation with the group. No Sketching Experience Necessary.
