Caravaggio | Revolution shines a light on how a Baroque master’s radical realism transformed not only painting, but the very language of modern film, photography, and popular culture. Featuring over 40 masterpieces from Florence’s world-renowned Fondazione Roberto Longhi, along with major loans from private and public collections, brings together works rarely seen in the United States — including Caravaggio’s “Boy bitten by a lizard.”
