This limited-edition keepsake provides a glimpse into the world of Oscar de la Renta, the high-fashion runway show held at the Museum this spring, A complimentary copy of Oscar de la Renta: Fashion & Design at the Mint Museum will be made available to all Auxiliary members and Room to Bloom 2011 supporters. Organized in 1956, the Auxiliary supports The Mint Museum by raising money to support educational offerings for school age children and fund acquisitions for the Museum’s permanent collections. The Auxiliary raises money through its annual fundraisers, the spring Room to Bloom Celebration (formerly known as the Home & Garden Tour) and the fall Mint to Be Yours Tag Sale. Prospective new members must be sponsored by two Active or Associate members, demonstrate an interest in the Museum and a willingness to participate in programs and projects that benefit the Museum. Dues are $75 and $85, for Active and Associate members, respectively.
