Project Ten Ten Ten

To celebrate the October 2010 grand opening of the Mint Museum Uptown, the Mint Museum of Craft +
Design has launched Project Ten Ten Ten. The Museum will commission 10 of the world’s most innovative craft artists to create works especially for the new facility. When the doors opened in October, visitors saw spectacular examples of glass, jewelry, furniture, and fiber art installed in the Craft + Design galleries by major artists Danny Lane, Ted Noten, Joseph Walsh, and Hildur Bjarnadóttir. Following will be equally striking commissions by Tetsunori Kawana, Kate Malone, Cristina Córdova, Tom Joyce, Susan Point, and Ayala Serfaty.

Visit the Project Ten Ten Ten Mint wiki page for more information on each artist.

Glass artist Danny Lane & Annie Carlano, curator of MMC+D
