John F. Brower (American, 1848 - 1911)

John F. Brower (1848-1911) owned a pottery in eastern Randolph County, but he was not a potter himself. His brother James helped in the firing and marketing of the wares, but the turning was done by Himer Jacob Fox. Fox learned potting from his father, Nicholas.
