Walter B. Stephen (American, 1876 - 1961)

Walter Benjamin Stephen founded Pisgah Forest Pottery in Arden, North Carolina, in 1926 and ran it until his death in 1961. Stephen developed a series of very successful crystalline glazes, as evidenced by this sugar bowl and creamer.
