Face Jug

Don Craig (American, 1954 - present)

Don Craig, son of Burlon Craig, was raised making pottery, although he did not turn to it professionally until he left a previous career in automobile services after nineteen years. Like his father, Don Craig has long made face jugs a part of his repertoire. As illustrated here, his faces often appear more sculpted than those of other potters.
