"Yellow Lion" Dish

This dish’s painted decoration, which features a tiger with bamboo and a prunus shrub, was inspired by a Japanese porcelain pattern. The dish belonged to a service once displayed by Augustus the Strong at his Japanese Palace in Dresden.
