Teapot from the Elector Clemens August Service

This teapot is from a coffee, tea, and chocolate service made for Clemens August of Bavaria, Elector and Archbishop of Cologne (1700–1761) on the occasion of his 35th birthday. Notice that one of the teapot’s figures is painting the Elector’s monogram, CA, on a large shield.
