Mark your calendars now for a delightful spring trip to the 77th Annual Historic Garden Week in Virginia, April 19-21, 2010, cost per person is $595/double occupancy & $765/single occupancy. For seven decades the Garden Club of Virginia has been showcasing the most beautiful homes and gardens across the state.
Our stops include:
- Poplar Forest designed by Thomas Jefferson as his year-round retreat
- A private visit to The Maier Museum, Randolph College featuring 19th & 20th century American artists.
- Two nights at The Craddock Terry part of the former Craddock Terry Shoe Factory. Each morning your breakfast is delivered in a shoebox!
- Dinner at the Shoemaker’s Grill.
- five carefully selected homes and gardens in Lynchburg with a beautiful lunch included.
- tour of the Old City Cemetery described as a “grave garden” with four small museums.
