Johannes Michelson's object, When Lightning Strikes, differs from the piece he donated to the museum's study collection. This object shows his ability to contrast texture and color, maintaining harmony in the object's composition. Michelson has become known for turning wearable hats from wood, and one of his creations is featured in the museums' Education Resource Center. Click here to view a demonstration.
