| Leong was born in London, lived in Mexico for fifteen years, and has now settled in Southern California. Leong studied architecture and even completed a fellowship with Le Corbusier. He has designed public schools, bridges, and water systems, and gained further recognition for his furniture. His wood pieces are complex, intricate constructions often called "art boxes."
