The Library of The Mint Museum currently includes more than 15,000 volumes, which are distributed among three sites: the main library, known as the J.A. Jones Reference Library and the Delhom-Gambrell Reference Library for the decorative arts, both located at Mint Museum Randolph. The Mint Museum of Craft + Design (currently being relocated to its new location opening in October 2010) has a collection of books for staff use. Holdings at the three sites reflect the collection focus of The Mint Museum and include significant collections of resources on art history, contemporary, American art, historic ceramics, studio craft, costumes, Ancient American art, as well as art techniques, museum exhibition catalogs, and rare books, particularly those on 18th century English pottery and porcelain.
Hours for the J.A. Jones Reference Library and the Delhom-Gambrell Reference Library are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. by appointment.
