View works addressing social issues of the past by African-American pioneer artists Loïs Mailou Jones, Elizabeth Catlett and Hale Woodruff with today’s responses through visual art, poetry, and dance.  Following the program, guests are invited to view works in the Mint-organized exhibition America the Beautiful
