Inspired by an 18th century bookcase in Inventing the Modern World: Decorative Arts at the World’s Fairs 1851-1939, local poets and literature students will read from the works of Thomas Gray, Phyllis Wheatley, Francisco Balagtas, Charles’ Dickens and others.
