Asia in Amsterdam: The Culture of Luxury in the Golden Age

Karina Corrigan, curator of Asian Export Art at the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, will examine the influence of imported Asian porcelain, textiles, lacquer, and other luxury goods on decorative arts produced in seventeenth-century Holland. Her talk derives from a special exhibition of the same title co-organized by the Peabody Essex Museum and the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.

Sponsored by the Delhom Service League. All events are in the Van Every Auditorium, Mint Museum Randolph, unless otherwise noted. Free and open to all.

The Delhom Service League is the ceramics affiliate of The Mint Museum. Our mission is to create and nurture interest in ceramics, from ancient to contemporary.
