Karina Corrigan, curator of Asian Export Art at the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem, will examine the influence of imported Asian porcelain, textiles, lacquer, and other luxury goods on decorative arts produced in seventeenth-century Holland. Her talk derives from a special exhibition of the same title co-organized by the Peabody Essex Museum and the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
