Fall EnrichMINT Forum with William Ivey Long
This marquee kick-off to the Room to Bloom Celebration will be held at the Mint Museum Uptown with keynote speaker, William Ivey Long. William Ivey Long, a North Carolina native and Tony-award-winning costume designer for stage and film. Inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame, William Ivey Long has designed costumes for over 60 Broadway shows. During this forum, he will share highlights from his career thus far.
The Mint Museum Auxiliary has a long and celebrated history with The Mint Museum. Organized in 1956, the Auxiliary was formed to receive and administer funds exclusively for the Mint. The Auxiliary raises money through annual events, such as the Room to Bloom spring celebration. Proceeds go to purchase acquisitions for the museum and to fund educational projects. Auxiliary members provide service hours to various projects that benefit the museum and participate in Auxiliary events. Active and Associate members may sponsor or co-sponsor candidates who show an interest in the museum and a willingness to participate in programs and projects that benefit the museum.
