ART OF READING TOUR: PRIDE & PREJUDICE

Are you a fan of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice? Want to discuss this classic tale with fellow fans, but are not in a book group?

Through its Art of Reading program, Docents of the Mint Museum are offering an Open to the Public: Pride and Prejudice book discussion and tour Wednesday, March 8, 6 - 7:30 pm. The program begins with a docent-facilitated discussion and is followed by a docent-led tour of the Mint’s Portals to the Past: British Ceramics exhibition. See selected works of art that help bring to life the historic events, cultural influences, and lifestyles represented in the book.

This program is free for members and free with museum admission for non-members. Registration is required.

Another Open to the Public Pride and Prejudice Tour will be offered on June 11, 2017, 2 - 3:30 pm.

Art of Reading tours are offered to Charlotte-area book clubs. To book a tour for your book group, contact Julie Olsen Anna, Tour Program Coordinator, at Julie.olsonanna@mintmuseum.org for more information.
