Friends of the Mint

friends bar

Organized in 1965, the Friends of the Mint stimulates interest in and support for the Arts. The Friends sponsor a series of lectures featuring nationally and internationally renowned speakers in the art world that are free to the public with museum admission. Lectures are held once a month from September through May. They visit other cities, museums and galleries to explore the diverse art scene in different communities. Both Museum and Friends membership is required to attend trips.
Dues are $25 per year. Interested, attend a Friends meeting, call 704.337-2031, e-mail or print and mail the membership application below.
