Last Look Friday!
More than 350 people attended Last Look Friday on March 5. They came to say a nostalgic good bye to the Mint Museum of Craft + Design's original location and party in the museum. The DIY studio sculpture challenge was the hit of the evening! Click on the image above to view photos from the night on our Facebook page or the album devoted to the popular graffiti wall, where guests left their mark on the museum!

Experience a new twist on the ever popular pop-up book-pop-up sculpture! David Carter continues to mesmerize and entertain with his sculpture in a book format. Both shops carry several books to choose from, available for $19.95 - $29.95. Don't forget the Mint Museum of Craft + Design shop is open through June.

Mini-Masters Adult/Child Workshop: My Little Puppy

We'll look for dogs in the museum's artwork, talk about texture and craft our very own cuddly puppies to name and take home! For young artists ages 3-5 and their grown-up companions.

The Hand and the Eye: Adult Painting and Drawing Class
Tuesday, April 13, 20 & 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Mint Museum Randolph
Tuition: $60/members & $75/non-members

Working from a live model, explore the properties of color; hue, value and intensity. Use your choice of wet or dry media. Model and materials included.

Mini-Masters Adult/Child Workshop: Rainbow Kites
Wednesday, April 28, 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Mint Museum Randolph Tuition: $10/members & $15/non-members
Inspired by the vividly colored "kite" installation suspended in the museum atrium, we'll decorate our own kite using colorful tissue paper, glue and imagination! Young artists (ages 3-5) and their grown-up companions investigate art in the galleries and explore fun new techniques in the classroom. Juice will be served.
