Downloading
the Apple Macintosh Version
Macintosh
minimum system requirements:
Apple
Macintosh computer with 4 MB of RAM, a 13" color monitor
(256 colors for optimum viewing), and 11 MB of free space
on your hard drive.
Directions
for downloading the Macintosh
version of Dig it!
1.
Download the software - Click the "Download"
link below to download a compressed file called digit.hqx
on your hard drive. Note: If you are prompted to determine
a location to download the file, note the location so you
can find the file for Step 2.
2.
Unstuff the software Use a utility like Stuffit
Expander to decompress the Digit.hqx file (this
may happen automatically). This will create an installer file
called digit.sea.
3.
Install the software - Double-click digit.sea file.
This will install a folder called "Dig it!" in the
same folder as the digit.sea file.
4.
Run the software Open the "Dig it!" folder
and double-click "Dig it!" icon to start
the program. It needs approximately 4 MB of free RAM. You
may need to quit programs you aren't using, but which are
taking up RAM, before running Dig it!
