Lesson Plans Three lesson plans have been provided to encourage the integration of art activities and Crafting North Carolina with core curriculum. These lesson plans correlate with the student creations that are displayed in the Look@Gallery section of the site. This work was created while North Carolina artists worked with 4th grade students at their schools. The format of each lesson lists the objectives, discipline connections, motivations, and creative steps that were explored in the classroom. Each lesson proved successful in introducing an aspect of North Carolina’s art and craft heritage and is offered to help teachers replicate this experience in the classroom.
