My name is Mary Catherine and I enjoyed going to the Mint Museum of Craft + Design. It was fun to see all the things made with very unusual stuff.

My favorite was a glass chair. You can walk around it and see every side. It is very colorful. I wanted to crawl up on it and sit down but I couldn’t do that!

What if it broke? It is very valuable I’m sure.

There are glass balls and glass buckets that looked like they would roll off on the floor but they are glued. You can see through it and see lots of colors. I never knew a chair could be made of glass!
