This is a piece of furniture. It is a chest of drawers made in the shape of a swordfish. The colored pieces of the fish are small pieces of wood that have been glued into the front. This chest is made of a variety of woods -- birch, gum, maple, and poplar. John Cederquist made the chest in 1998. John lives in California where he teaches art to college students.
