My
name is JaNell. I liked going to the Mint Museum of Craft + Design.
My favorite was a big square quilt. The quilt was made by an artist
named John Garrett. You know what? It is not made of cloth. I couldn't
believe all the cool stuff that I saw in it. A lot of the stuff probably
came out of the trashcan!
There
are sandpaper circles, shells, wire, and even paint lids. There are
packets
tied with shoestrings. I can't wait to show this to my Mom and Dad.
A big piece of wire holds the quilt together. This was a fun trip.
We saw lots of neat stuff!
