STEP 8: Fire the pot for the 2nd time

"The second time a pot is placed in the kiln, the temperature is higher. The high temperature melts the glaze and makes it stick to the pot.

The firing process can take a full day. Twelve hours of firing and about that much time to cool down. Then you open the kiln to see how things turned out."
