About The Exhibition

Brilliant, captivating, dazzling and mystifying are a few of the superlatives that describe Jon Kuhnís glass sculpture. Throughout his nearly 25 year career, Kuhn has moved fluidly from clay to organic glass vessels to highly intricate, geometrized glass sculpture. He creates his optically mesmerizing works through a precise and disciplined series of cutting, fusing, polishing, and assembling glass. More is more in the stacked and suspended interior forms and their prismatic effects in his glittering, kinetic cubes and lace glass sculptures. Featuring 25 works, including many new pieces never before seen, this retrospective explores the career of this internationally recognized pioneer and glass virtuoso.
