Internships

The Mint Museum’s Internship Program is an opportunity for college and graduate students to gain valuable career insight into the daily operations of a museum. Internships are available at both museum locations and in a variety of departments, including: Advancement & Communications, Collections & Exhibitions, Curatorial, Design & Installation, and Learning & Engagement. Internships are unpaid and availability varies every semester.

Curatorial Assistant of Craft, Design, & Fashion

- Collections & Exhibitions

Reporting to the Senior Curator of Craft, Design & Fashion, the Curatorial Assistant of Craft, Design & Fashion conducts logistical, administrative, research and implementation duties related to the museum’s permanent collections of contemporary decorative arts and design, including fashion.

Exhibitions Designer

- Collections & Exhibitions

The Exhibitions Designer is key team member of the Collections & Exhibitions Department, and has an integral role in the execution of the Museum’s ambitious schedule of exhibitions, installations, and gallery rotations. The Exhibitions Designer implements the Museum’s strategic priorities in collaboration with the Director of Collections & Exhibitions, Curators, Educators, Registrars, and other staff. The position provides leadership for cross-departmental collaboration to implement the highest stewardship standards for the Museum’s collections and exhibitions.

Part-Time Sales Assistant

- Operations

To extend the Museum’s educational facilities, enhance the visitor’s experience, and generate funds to support the Museum through sales and outstanding customer service.

10-29 hours per week, weekdays, some evenings and weekends required.
