#TBT to when we smashed a bunch of furniture at Mint Museum Uptown. We had a lot of fun with this one!
Created by Jonathan Schipper, 'Slow Room' 2017 was one of the really interesting installations in the special exhibition 'State of the Art,' which was curated by the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
For Schipper, this is a metaphor for the gradual progress and ultimate end of life; the slow lapse of time keeps us unaware of gradual changes made to our minds and bodies throughout our lifetimes.
